Frisbee Team on the Rise

One week after competing in the difficult East Penn DIII Conference Championships against the 2011 Conference Champions Lafayette and Nationals qualifiers Lehigh and Swarthmore, the Eastern University Exiles rebounded strongly at the Hucks4Haiti tournament with a 4-0 record and a first-place tournament finish.

Hucks4Haiti wraps up the Exiles’ 2011-2012 tournament slate which included matches against teams from Scranton, Wilkes, Bloomsburg and Kutztown. In the past, Eastern has more than held its own against much larger schools, among them: Millersville, St. Joseph’s, Villanova and Temple. The Exiles graduate six seniors but will return with a solid core of players that leave the team poised for success in the 2012-2013 season and beyond.
