The 2012 NBA playoffs will showcase the talent of the best athletes in the world going head to head.

For the NBA championship game, I envision the Miami Heat edging the Los Angeles Clippers. Regardless of the deadly combination of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, I don’t see the Clippers shutting down the heavy powered offense of Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

The Heat will cruise to the championship, defeating the Knicks and Pacers in six games or fewer. They will win a hard fought battle with the Buffalo Bulls and then defeat the Clippers in seven games.

The NBA playoffs are a special time of year, full of breathtaking slam dunks and SportsCenter highlights. If you are a lover of the sports world, block it off on your calendar.
