Located about 25 miles from Eastern’s campus, Longwood Gardens is currently celebrating its “Autumn Colors” season.  For only $6 with a student identification, you can tour the grounds and the conservatory, which prides itself in housing the world’s largest thousand-bloom chrysanthemum.  From now until Nov. 22, the chrysanthemum festival will display more than 20,000 chrysanthemums.  The gardens are open daily from 9 a.m. to  5 p.m. and parking is free.
