Eastern has evolved in many ways since being founded in 1925 as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The makeup of the faculty and student body has become much more diverse, but the commitment to Christ has remained prevalent.

The student body of Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary was made up of mostly American Baptists with the faculty being composed entirely of Baptists, according to Dr.

There was a controversy in my church back home. I was too young to remember, but I've heard the story. You see, in Baptist churches like mine, everyone takes the Lord's Supper all at once, so rather than kneeling at the altar the elements were passed to us in the pews.

For me, coming to Eastern was an eye-opening experience because although I knew there were differences among the denominations, I never knew what those differences were or why they existed.

This practice is seemingly defiant of the industry's golden rule of remaining objective. Despite that, the Waltonian has decided to make an attempt to endorse a candidate for the presidential election.
Mr. Santorum's most recent project is the America's Enemies Project, a catalyst to further alienate the Islamic world from the message of Christ.

An avid reader of history, well educated in the nature of world governments and American values, he responded quite frankly: "Democracy is a nice idea, but give me a benign despot any day.

Before hearing most of his lecture I had already made up my mind that I knew enough about the homeless and the proper way to act since I have lived in Philadelphia my whole life.

Lacrosse first originated among Native American tribes as a sport designed to train warriors, solve inter-tribal conflicts and give thanks to the Creator.
