Spring Sports Preview: Softball

Flying for the first time, the softball team will be spending their spring break in Fort Myers, Fla., playing ten games in a week's time and bonding as a team.

Ambler is happy with the work his girls have done so far and hopes to build off the team's third-place finish in last year's PAC playoffs.

"We've worked harder on conditioning within the team," Ambler said. "It's a whole team effort."

While going to softball games this season, be sure to watch juniors Alissa Brubaker, Karen Hertzog and Raychal Weis, as well as senior Ashley Lewis. Elise Murante, another senior, is also making a comeback from knee surgery. Each one of these girls is a strong contributor on the team and is worth watching.
